My primary service is math instruction.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Before I decided to start Mr. Eric's MathWorld, I taught 5 years in 2 public high schools in Central Florida where I earned my Professional Educators Certificate in Mathematics. Wanting another challenge, I decided that I could make an even bigger impact to help students by opening Mr. Eric's MathWorld. I provide my students competent math lesson for less than half of what other tutors/tutoring franchises change. This makes my service affordable for nearly anyone who needs expert math lessons.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Many math tutors have little coursework and experience to be effective in teaching math to students, particularly high school and college students. I have a BS in Computational Mathematics/Math Education and some post graduate work. Combine education with 15 years of experience and success with all students and you'll easily see that my services are superior to any other tutor in the area.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I provide my services to students at my home/office or at any other location that is convenient. Currently, nearly half of my students come to my home/office and the other half I travel to their location.
