we just moved to brevard county my local vet highly recommended this place we came and toured mid day it was very clean and pleasant staff was very kind their was 3 groomers and kennel staff answered all our questions. we then tried them and our dogs were very happy when we picked them up and very clean.their is another kennel across the street but every time I go by there all the dogs are out in this florida heat and fighting.Also they are open 7 days aweek and open till 7pm.

What a great place, it's like the pet is at home.and care about every pet which stays with them. our dogs can't wait to see kelli jo

I am writing this in behalf of close friend, Rachael Fitzpatrick: PAWs And CLAWs in Merritt Island , Florida. As most of you know our dog Molly died a couple months ago while at the kennel/groomers. We recently found out the way she died was because she was malled to death by seven other dogs. We were told by the owner that she had died of a brain aneurism. The veterinarian, Debbie Schnars said absolutely not, she was lying in a puddle of blood at least 2 hours before Dr.Schnars got there. Dr.Schnars said she told the owner to take Molly to an emergency clinic close by. She did not do this. Kelly Raines, the owner would not come out while the Vet looked at Molly. The Vet took Molly and spent 5 hours on Molly in surgery. She died the next morning. The Vet was told that we had been told by Kelly so we did not know the truth for several weeks. We kept asking for the name of the place that did the cremation ( ordered by Kelly before we knew Molly was dead). She then went to pick up the ashes saying she was the owner. This was not authorised by the Vet and the official paperwork was not provided. We don't know if other dog owners were notified their dog had killed another dog or if dangerous dogs are banned. We just know we left Molly in her care and she was attacked and killed. We know she lied to us. We know she lied to Dr Schnars. We know she lied to those who did the cremation. We have learned of others dogs that have been injured. Please spread this story as we would like to protect other dogs and their owners. Thank you!
